I'm a believer in building up the trenches first. Especially the offensive line.
Kyle Hamilton is a stud (I'm a diehard Notre Dame fan), but I would take another OL with that pick. I think it is to early to tell what positions on the OL need to be filled, but there are plenty holes to fill. It seems like Andrew Thomas is the only clear starter that will return.
I'd be thrilled with Ekwonu and then select another top lineman (Petit Frere, Linderbaum, Neal, Walker, Patterson).
If the Giants want to address defense with one of the two picks, I'd look at the D-Line: Karlaftis (Purdue), Leal (A&M)
For the most part, I'm in agreement with the positions that Dietz chose to fill.
At RB, I think you can find value on the wire. No need to use a draft pick on a RB that is going to sit behind Barkley in 2022 (maybe longer).
At the conclusion of the second round, I want the Giants to have ended up with two OL out of the 3 picks. The other pick is either DL or LB.
Nakobe Dean is an excellent MLB out of Georgia. He might be available with the 2nd round pick. Perhaps even the third once all the prospects are rated.
When in doubt, take the boys from the big-time SEC schools: Bama, UGA, A&M.
