The Giants confirmed that team ownership met with nine general manager candidates. It's believed that the Giants will harrow down their list to about 3-4 candidates who will get second interviews.

They seem willing to go outside of the organization, which is good. They are not to stubborn and set in their ways....

On the actual candidates. Someone young and energetic. Other than that, I don't really have a preference.

I like how they are going for guys with strong personnel backgrounds. Lord knows they need that.
