Let's hope it is an offensive Tackle!! The top 4 OT seems to be:
The first # is their scout rating. The second # is their overall rank in the class of 2022

The Giants shouldn't be hell-bent on getting a tackle with one of the two 1st round picks.
The Giants already have a LT in Andrew Thomas. Having giving it some more thought, I think drafting Linderbaum and Kalafatis with the 5th pick and 7 pick respectively makes a lot of sense.

Has to be an O-lineman, IMO. That said, I wouldn't reach for one.

An offensive line consists of 5 players. When you're team only has one reliable offensive lineman (assuming Gates will not be ready until later in the season), drafting any of the top linemen, be it a tackle, guard, or center could hardly be called a reach. Hoping #5 and #7 are offensive linemen.

You're right the Giants are going to have bring in a number offensive lineman in the draft.
This draft is deep with edge rushers, but not so deep with offensive lineman like 2020 and last year.
I did a mock yesterday. I would appreciate what think!

Having some technical issues. Have to go to plan B LOL. Here it is.
The approach to this mock was to get the best offensive lineman with 1st two picks. Zion Johnson was a big get for me. He's solid and can play any position but center. The rest of the picks IMHO are good football players who the Giants could use.
Your thoughts would be appreciated!

I was looking at the PFF Mock draft simulator last night. It was very interesting in that Player grades seems to have been really updated.
Players are moving up and down on the board. I guess their getting more information and adjusting their rankings.

Yeah, I noticed that also. Some have gone from not being drafted to 2nd or 3rd round.
Hence why in the past I've been reluctant to do mock drafts. With the combine coming up, I expect more grades to change.
I agree 100% on this.
The first 2 picks need to be an OL and an athletic LB, either edge or someone who can play all over, like Parsons. Somewhere later in the draft needs to be at least another OL and a CB since Bradberry is likely gone. Their OL needs are not just at RT. The interior line needs a complete overhaul.
Honestly, I'd be happy with any of the top 3 listed above at pick number 5. I'm fairly confident one will be available and ANY of them would create a great bookend with Thomas. Then they could potentially take the top interior OL at 7... Even if it's Linderbaum. I know everyone says you should NEVER take a center that high, but if it fills the position for the next 10 years and they don't have to worry about it, I'd say that's a worthwhile pick. Then all they need to do is find some worthwhile guards.
I can see the Giants getting one of the two top tackles at 5 and trading back a bit for picks and a shot at either Linderbaum, Cross, Penning or Reimann. More picks and a chance to get one of the better guards in the second round - maybe Zion Johnson out of BC?

I would be happy if they got Linderbaum and a few of the following players in Rds 2-5. Zion Johnson G,
Kellen Diesch OT, Cade Mays G, Luke Fortner C who can play center and both guard spots.
Logan Bruss from Wisconsin is really interesting. RT who played a little RG also. He gave 1 sack and 8 hits in 830 snaps.
