General Manager Chores

1. He has to hire a good head coach. George Young hired Parcells, who taught the team how to win. Before that, he hired Ray Perkins, who taught the team how to stop losing.
2. He has to help the coach build a staff. There are 20+ assistant coaches. In the past, some have been pretty good e.g. Lombardi, Landry, Belichick, Coughlin, etc.
3. He has to draft/find a talented QB. Young drafted 2 who got us to the Super Bowl. Accorsi drafted one (2 if you count Elway), and found another.
BTW, it is not true that we need a super-star QB. In the 4 Super Bowls we won, the other team had by far the more talented QB. In the one we lost, we did.
4. He has to draft good players and avoid busts. Think LT and Ereck Flowers.

Good list there. not sure if everything can get done this off-season, but those have to be the goals.
